Patreon's commission has risen to 10%: what changes
Since August 2025, every new creator starts at 10%. Older plans survive, but not forever.
Patreon's historical pricing offered 5, 8 and 12% depending on the features used. Since August 4, 2025, every creator opening a page starts at 10%, plus payment processing fees.
The November 2026 deadline
Creators still on the old billing model must switch to subscription-based billing before November 1, 2026. This switch changes the charge date for their members, and with it their cash flow and, for some, their churn rate.
