Page design
What shows up when your page gets shared
A link without a thumbnail loses half its clicks. Three tags fix the problem.
Your page gets shared in private conversations, messaging apps, social feeds. What shows up there isn't your page: it's a card generated from three tags.
What you need to provide
- A title different from your page title: it has to work standing alone.
- A one-sentence description, framed around the benefit.
- An image at 1200 × 630, readable even small.
Every post needs its own tags, not the site's. A link to one specific article that shows the platform's generic name loses the entire point of sharing it.
